The Best Friend Sandwich

wooden tray with a close up shot of a turkey sandwich

This sandwich is my go to sandwich recipe when I’m desperate for immediate food but have zero energy or time. I make it for my best friend every single time she comes over. She’s not someone with a big appetite, but when I make her this sandwich she always asks for another one. I felt the need to share my sandwich creation with the world since it makes my best friend so happy.

Ingredients

  • sliced bread (I use Dave’s Killer Bread)
  • olive oil mayonnaise (or any really)
  • boar’s head delicatessen style mustard
  • artisan lettuce (any lettuce works)
  • tomato
  • sliced cheese
  • deli meat (deli turkey breast)
  • red or orange bell pepper
